Hi, I'm Jon
I grew up in Lake Forest Park
I attended Lake Forest Park Elementary, Kellogg, and Shorecrest High. I earned my bachelor's degrees in Architectural Studies and Building Construction from the University of Washington. After 29 years, I retired from the UW as the Director of Capital Projects and am now serving as the Deputy Executive Project Director for the $3.7B East Link Extension project at Sound Transit.
Raising a Family in LFP
My parents relocated to Lake Forest Park to take advantage of the exceptional lifestyle and the benefits offered by the Shoreline School District. Inspired by their decision, my wife Mary Ellen and I also chose to raise our family in this community, appreciating its amenities and distinctive character. We reside in our home with our three sons and our Bernese Mountain Dog, Penny. I have a passion for hiking with my family and cultivating our garden.
Volunteer Work
Shoreline youth soccer coach and referee, member of the LFP Planning Commission for seven years, including three years as chair, and participant in work parties with the Washington Trails Association.
